MY APPROACH
The idea of therapy can be intimidating and scary. Talking with a stranger about some of the deepest topics in life... Yikes! Because of that, I will work hard to ensure that you feel comfortable, welcomed, and ultimately glad that you took the time to work on yourself. I use a variety of therapy methods, including an integrative brain-body approach to instill greater self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. More often than not, our overall mental health is closely related to our physical health. Without any sort of judgment, we can walk through a “food-mood” journal or explore different foods, herbs, and supplementation that could be helpful for optimal health and sleep. If a person can make some small, realistic changes to these areas of their life, they will likely complement the work being done to manage mental health concerns. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill nor a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.

and improve positive thinking and behavior through a variety of both traditional and integrative methods. As we work towards the goal of overall health, that may include conversations around food, sleep, and physical activity. I can help “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. I am excited to work with anyone over the age of 13.
COUPLES
THERAPY
Marriage is Tough ! I can help ! I love working with couples who are willing to put in the effort it takes to change years and even decades of destructive patterns. I guide my
clients every step of the way, implementing various therapeutic methods. Utilizing attachment theory and cognitive behavior therapy will help couples develop healthy new attitudes towards their partner.
FAMILY
THERAPY
All of us in the same room? Yes ! My Family Therapy sessions help clients develop positive
attitudes towards life’s most complex and challenging circumstances. Often times dealing with difficult family dynamics can affect all other parts of life. I draw from various theories including family systems theory and attachment theory. In addition, I utilize my experiences working as a School Counselor as well as my youth ministry work to help families find a comfortable and healthy way to interact.

Many insurance companies may reimburse our work together as an out of network provider. In order to determine how your insurance company may reimburse, you may contact them and ask the following questions.
• Do I have an outpatient mental health benefit for out-of-network providers?
• What will my responsibility be for the visit i.e. deductible, co-pay or co-insurance?
• How many sessions will my insurance cover?
